Colt Salter is a one in a million Utahan.
Colt loves to hunt deer. Loves to get out into the wild. Explore new areas of the pristine Utah mountains. Colt tried to hunt elk once, but it didn’t turn out well for Colt. He’s never tried again. He stick to hunting deed. When it comes to fishing, look out! Colt can fish. He tells the truth about the size of the fish he catches though. Colt claims the largest fish he’s caught has been between 12 to 14 inches. Maybe 14. He’s really only fished for trout in the Uintahs, but that’s where Colt feels at home. There and in the courtroom.

After earning a Bachelor of Science degree from Brigham Young University in Political Science in 2011, he continued his education at the University of Utah College of Law where he obtained his Juris Doctor degree.
After law school, Colt began his own solo practice because he was headstrong and wanted to show the world he could do it on his own. Leaving behind his “lone wolf” status, Colt joined the law firm of Ascent Law LLC where he works with the few who love to work hard and win cases for their clients.
Colt is married to his sweetheart and they have four (4) children, and counting. When not working on a case or in the backwoods exploring, you’ll find Colt being a husband and father, which, he says, is his favorite job of all… after being a lawyer.
Colt enjoys the following areas of legal practice:
